Inclement Weather

show wait

During inclement weather, parents/guardians are responsible to decide whether to send their child to the bus stop or to school. During extreme cold weather or severe weather storm conditions, we recommend that parents remind their children of possible bus breakdown and/or delays. Parents are advised to exercise their own discretion as to how long their child should wait for the school bus in inclement weather. Parents should have a back-up plan in place to allow for unforeseen circumstances.

Check the Delays and Cancellations tab, our Twitter feed (@NPSSTS), and your local media for updates on delays and cancellations. Please remember that when student transportation is cancelled, schools remain open for students who can safely get there.
